Money$$$

Letter from the bank states that I will now be charged $$$ if I am overdrawn. So the fact that I do not have any money in the first place does not matter to them at all. It is glaringly obvious that if I had lots of $$$ I would not have an empty account in the first place. So what do they do?

Charge me $$$ for every day that I am overdrawn and further $$$ for every single $$$ transaction that comes out of the empty account. How does this help? Who even understands this? Unarranged overdraft is what they call it?

So, the people that they penilise and try to extort are the people who can least afford it. This can only result in further distress for victims who are sitting there and might be depressed and fed up because they do not have any $$$ and then, woop de do, a letter pops through the door chargeing them more money for not having any money. So they might just want to kill themselves. Really, would you just not want to kill yourself if you could not see a way out?
